ONOMO Hotel Abidjan Airport
Nested within its wall made of precious wood and a landscape garden, the hotel is the result of an original concept by Ivorian architects and contractors.
Imbued with an African spirit but open to the world and contemporary aspirations, this hotel is committed to offering a tailored hospitality service, which is accessible to new regional clients and international guests. The hotel lobby is conceived as an urban African village that allows for different living spaces including the main restaurant and its green wall, the bar, the business corner, the lounge space and access to the rooms. The hotel has 116 rooms and 2 suites, which are particularly well lit and full of sophisticated comforts. They also enjoy a shady balcony and a wide window on to the interior gardens. The rooms range from 16 to 18m sq. and have high-speed free Wi-Fi, a workspace, and a walk-in shower, separate toilets, a flat-screen television and an electronic safe adapted to laptops. The landscape gardens and the swimming pool with a solarium are an invitation to relax in peace during your stay.
The bar-restaurant is open 24/7 to cater to guests night and day. The food is tasty and the portions generous. African and international flavours inspire the chef who mostly sources fresh produce from the local market and his own organic allotment.
For meetings and conferences, the hotel offers all the amenities (free Wi-Fi without a login) and 2 meeting rooms, as well as computers for free use.
The Hotel ONOMO Abidjan also has shuttle for guests, which is equipped with free Wi-Fi, ready to take guests to and from the international airport less than 2 minutes away.
Security is the priority of ONOMO Hotels. Its innovative approach, under the concept ‘Priority Security’, is the result of an in-depth collaboration with security and risk experts. Guards, technology and other resources guarantee peace and comfort during your stay.
This concept, created by ONOMO Hotels, is a driving mission for the chain. We want to integrate the best of the creativity and talent of African craftsmen within the very walls of our hotels. By putting local resources first, ONOMO Hotels wants to drive regional economic development. Africa’s Finest focuses on environmentally-friendly projects and social responsibility.
ONOMO VISUAL ART
Hotels at the heart of Africa, Africa at the heart of our hotels.
Through the Culture programme ONOMO Visual Art, ONOMO Hotels give a voice to contemporary African artists - photographers and filmmakers - and develops partnerships with important players in the cultural life of the continent.
ONOMO Hotel Abidjan Airport is now seen as a vital cultural meeting point in Ivory Coast. Among the most successful: ‘ONOMOllywood’ showing Omar Victor Diop & Antoine Tempé and ‘Contes et Légendes’ (Myths and Fairytales) which showed work by Fabrice Monteiro. The two exhibitions were very successful outside of Ivory Coast, demonstrating the drive behind the concept to participate in the promotion of contemporary African visual creativity.
The hotel also showed the first exhibition ‘SakraKouroubi’ by Raymond Dakoua in 2013, showing the ceremonies of the Kouroubi and the Sakraboutou, two traditional festivals in the village where he was born, Boudoukou.
