These General Terms of Sale apply to individual reservations for 9 rooms and less made at the same time concluded directly at the ONOMO Hotels properties.
The guest undertakes to comply with and to ensure compliance with all provisions set out in this document as well as the statutory and regulatory requirements.
These terms of sale may be modified at any time, and the applicable terms will be those in effect as of the date on which the reservation is made. Online bookings can be made until midnight to 5 minutes for an arrival on the same day.
These general terms of sale will take precedence over any other general terms of sale not expressly authorised by the ONOMO Hotels.
2. TERMS FOR RESERVATIONS – Room rate and city tax
The reservation will only be effective if the customer guarantees the reservation by providing a credit card number with the expiration date and cvv number valid at the time of the customer's stay. The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation in the event that the credit card number is not correct.
ONOMO Hotel Classic rate : Booking cancelable and changeable until 6pm on arrival date. Past that time, the first night would be debited from the credit card mentioned on the booking.
Signature Lux By ONOMO Hotels rate : Booking cancelable and changeable until 24 hours before arrival. Past that time, the first night would be debited from the credit card mentioned on the booking.
ONOMO Hotels ODEAL Rate :
D-20 bookable before arrival / Price cannot be changed or cancelled / Base of the discount: -30% of the displayed price, tax not included /Duration of the offer: not limited
Terms of sale : Booking by credit card. No changes or cancellations are possible after booking. The client agrees to be charged upon booking the full price of the stay, this amount is not refundable in case of cancellation or modification of the dates of stay. To guarantee your reservation, the prepayment by credit card of the whole stay at the time of the booking will be required.
ONOMO Hotels : OFLEX Deal (Best price of the day)
Price can be changed or canceled until D-3 before the arrival / Base of discount: -10% from listed price, tax excluded / Standard Room / Duration of the offer: not limited
Terms of sale: Any modification or cancellation is possible after the booking until the day of arrival before 06.00 pm (local time). Beyond the first night will be charged by the hotel. To guarantee your booking a credit card valid on the date of the beginning of your stay will be required.
The rates mentioned on the website may be modified without prior notice, and only the rate specified in the reservation confirmation will be contractually binding.
The rates do not include city tax/tourism levy , if applicable. The city tax/tourism levy is to be paid directly at the hotel. City tax is charged per night, per person. Tourism levy is charged at 1% per room, per night
Only natural, legally capable persons of adult age may book an ONOMO Hotels room. By completing the booking of a room through ONOMO Hotels, the guest expressly declares to fulfil these conditions.
3. Terms of payment
For reservations made on our website www.onomohotel.com, the payment on the site will be made by bank card via a secured payment system.
Your account will be debited in EUR.
Payment for any extra services will be made directly to the hotel.
4. Term of cancellation, modification and no show
Any cancellations of reservations made though the website must be made directly on the website. Please note that some offers do not permit any modification or cancellation and that the payment will be reimburse.
No fee will be charged if the reservation is cancelled at least before 6pm on arrival date, beyond this period, the first night will be charged.
For Signature Lux By ONOMO Hotels rate no fee will be charged if the reservation is cancelled 24 hours prior to arrival before 6:00 p.m. (local time). Beyond this period, the first night will be charged.
In case of no show, the first night will be charged.
If you need to shorten your stay, please inform the hotel will examine each request.
5 Check in / Check out.
The rooms will be made available for check in from at 2:00 p.m. on the arrival date and must be vacated before 12:00 p.m. on the departure date.
Check out time in South Africa is 10:00am.
A late check out fee will be incurred.
6. Stay at the hotel
The guest undertakes to use the room that he has been allocated, and more generally all the hotel equipment, in a reasonable manner, in accordance with the applicable rules, common decency and public order.
The guest is liable for any damage caused during the stay, and for any items belonging to the hotel that is missing at the end of his stay.
Should ONOMO Hotel observe any such damage, or if any object or item of furniture is missing for reasons attributable to the guest, ONOMO Hotels will be entitled to send a bill for the damage caused within 48 hours of the guest’s departure from the hotel.
ONOMO Hotels emphasises that its hotels are non-smoking. Smoking in the common areas and/or the rooms is forbidden. A smoking fine is applicable.
For behavior that is found to be indecent or contrary to public order, ONOMO Hotels reserves the right to demand that the guest immediately leave the hotel without being able to claim any compensation or damages.
The guest is informed that, in accordance with legal and regulatory provisions, he/she may be obliged to fill in a police form/registration card on arriving at the hotel and to present a valid piece of ID
Our wireless network is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. We do not warrant that access to our wireless network will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free at all times or will meet your requirements. We are not responsible for the security, integrity, accuracy or completeness of any information that you transmit or receive while using our wireless network.
Our wireless network is provided to you at our discretion. Your access may be blocked, suspended or terminated for any reason.
You may not (1) use our wireless network for any purpose that is unlawful or otherwise prohibited, (2) use our wireless network in such a manner as to host a web or other server, send or facilitate the sending of bulk e-mail or collect third party personal data without appropriate consent, (3) exceed typical bandwidths relevant to the period that you use our wireless network, (4) resell, or attempt to resell, our wireless network to any third party.
We maintain a log of technical traffic data of your usage activity for system performance, maintenance purposes, for the purpose of processing criminal offences and system security requirements. We process personal data collected by us in connection with your use of our wireless network is subject to our Privacy Statement. By using our wireless network you consent to such processing.
In the event of a case of force, an exceptional event, or technical problems in the hotel, making the customer's stay impossible, the hotel shall make alternative arrangements at another hotel of the same category or higher at no additional cost. The hotel will be responsible for the cost of the transport to the hotel and 1 phone call.
Please contact the respective hotel for the applicable pet policy.
All claims must be sent via email at the reception email address within 7 days from date of departure. Beyond this time, the hotel would not accept the claim.
11. Personal data
During the reservation process and your stay ONOMO Hotels collects your personal data. This data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / POPI) Act and also in accordance to any applicable laws and regulations.
12. INSURANCE – LIABILITIES
The hotel declines any liability in the event of theft, loss, or deterioration of items belonging to the guest during their stay. Each and every rooms are equipped with a personal safe.
The guest will be held liable for any damage, deterioration, or act of vandalism that may occur to furnishings, decorations, or property, whether it belongs to the hotel or not, resulting from occupation of the premises and/or caused by participants and/or personnel under the responsibility of the guest.
In the online reservation process on our Web site, we may not be held liable for any damages resulting from the use of the Internet network, such as data losses, viruses, service disruption, etc.
13. Force majeure
In the event of a circumstance of “Force Majeure” which is defined as any circumstances beyond the control of either Party including but not limited to any Act of God, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions, disease, explosion, war, armed hostilities, act of terrorism, riots, civil commotion, revolution, blockade, embargo, strike, lock-out, sit-in, industrial or trade dispute, government action or inaction, request of a governmental authority or any form of government, official or regulatory intervention, either Party shall be entitled to suspend this Agreement until such time when the circumstances constituting Force Majeure have disappeared. Any Guest’s reservation confirmed for a date within the period of Force Majeure may be cancelled by HOTEL by written notice to the Guest with copy to the COMPANY. Each Party shall nevertheless use its reasonable endeavours to alleviating the effects of such circumstances constituting Force Majeure, including agreeing upon alternative arrangements.
